Great Wall Motor officially reveals its refreshed Tank 300 and by just exterior you can see it is far more than a routine facelift. The iconic off-roader now features a longer 3,010 mm wheelbase, a shorter front overhang for better off-road approach angles, a redesigned front fascia with bold TANK lettering, and an available roof-mounted LiDAR system that focuses on more advanced driver-assistance technology.

Bold New Face Design & Bigger Styling
Well, the refreshed GWM Tank 300 stays true to its rugged, retro inspired character but arrives with a noticeably tougher presence. Upfront now do not have the old badge (silver-T and black-U badge) but now you will see bold “TANK” lettering across a new honeycomb grille while redesigned bumpers, exposes fasteners and integrated recovery-point styling add a more purposeful look.

Now base on this engine setup, the model power will be delivered through eight- or nine-speed automatic transmissions paired with a part-time four-wheel-drive system. All this going to transforms the Tank 300 into GWM’s longest range electrified off-roader of till now.

Well, the Tank 300 continues with an independent double-wishbone front suspension and a multi-link live rear axle that preserve the balance between everyday comfort and serious off-road durability. A rear locking differential likely to remain standard but a front locking differential may be available on selected variants for tackling more demanding terrain.
The revised chassis geometry, shorter front overhang, and forward-mounted front axle work together to improve obstacle clearance and approach angles without sacrificing stability.

Yes, the refreshed Tank 300 will open for pre-sales in China on 6 July with customer deliveries expected by late July 2026. According to China EV DataTracker, the Tank 300 lineup recorded 4,183 domestic deliveries in May 2026, highlighting its continued popularity ahead of this major update. Overseas markets also likely to receive the refresh SUV after its Chinese debut, but you may see final specifications changes as per region.
China Pricing & India Estimate
Well, the upcoming GWM Tank 300 will receive an official price tag ahead of its China pre-sales on 6 July. But it expected to be priced slightly above the outgoing model’s 199,800 – 249,800 yuan which is approx ₹23.9 – ₹29.9 lakh range. But if the model is launch in India, the rugged SUV may priced between ₹55 lakh to ₹70 lakh (ex-showroom) as per the variant and localisation.
