What’s New Coming?

Well, the Flagship’s Hardware Steals the Show and becomes biggest talking point of the Nevo Q06. Changan says the SUV is built on its latest SDA Tianshu architecture and features a claimed dual-motor rear-wheel-drive layout, backed by an 800V silicon-carbide electrical system with 6C ultra-fast charging.

And also gets roof-mounted LiDAR powering the new Tianshu Pilot Ultra system for end-to-end urban navigation which make the Q06 one of the brand’s most technology-focused SUVs yet.

Then comes the numbers which also tell an interesting story. Yes, the 4,837 mm long, 1,970 mm wide, and 1,670 mm tall, with a generous 2,940 mm wheelbase, the Q06 sits firmly in the mid-size SUV category. Changan pairs those proportions with sleek “Fuguang” styling, a closed front grille, full-width LED lighting, sculpted body panels, and a sporty rear design that gives it a premium, futuristic look.

Power Range Performance

Well, performance is another area where the Nevo Q06 looks seriously promising. The launch model packs a 245 kW (329 hp) rear-mounted electric motor, while additional variants expected to include a 330 kW (442 hp) dual-motor setup. Changan also expects a CLTC driving range of up to 700 km, depending on the battery version.

With this performance, the suspension & chassis also plays a crucial role. As the SUV rides on an aluminum-intensive double-wishbone front and five-link rear independent suspension while the 800V silicon-carbide platform enables 6C ultra-fast charging which means better charging then Li Auto i9 Flagship Electric SUV. As per reports, this charging claims gives battery from 10% to 80% in around 12 minutes which combines strong performance with everyday practicality.

Cabin Comfort & Tech Features

Coming to interior styling & comfort, the Q06 continues its high-tech theme with a dual-tone beige and purple cabin. A floating central touchscreen dominates the dashboard and physical shortcut buttons remain for convenience. Higher trims likely to offer a zero-gravity front passenger seat with a leg rest, an overhead rear entertainment screen, and a panoramic glass roof to give the cabin a flagship feel.

Launch, Pricing, & Rivals

Well, the Nevo Q06 first seen in China’s MIIT regulatory filings in April 2026. And now it makes official global debut on 15 July in Shanghai. Changan also confirms that the SUV will officially launch in September 2026. And at official launch, the complete variant details and pricing will be reveal. But experts estimates the starting price will be RMB 200,000 (approx ₹24 lakh) in China.

The Q06 expected to take on rivals like the BYD Song L GT, Zeekr 7X, Tesla Model Y, Leapmotor B10 Crossover, and the upcoming Xiaomi YU7. Entry-level variants are expected to start near RMB 185,000 (₹22 lakh), while the flagship version could reach around RMB 230,000 (₹27.5 lakh).

Well, the Changan Nevo Q06 looks like a well plan package that focuses on the areas buyers care about most today. Instead of chasing flashy design alone, Changan combine fast charging, intelligent driving, premium engineering, and practical SUV proportions into one product. And if the final production model performs as promised, the Nevo Q06 may become one of the standout new electric SUVs launching this year.
