New XPENG L03 debuts in Europe on 16 July with 65 market rollout, Google Maps Auto SDK, NGP intelligent driving, 520 km Range, BEV & EREV options, starting from €35,600.
XPENG is making a bold statement in Europe and this launch is much bigger than just another electric SUV arriving in the market. At its global event in Munich on 16 July 2026, the company introduces the all new XPENG L03 across 65 countries and regions while announcing a partnership with Google Maps, becoming the first brand from the APAC region to adopt the Google Maps Auto SDK for its overseas models.
The spotlight now shifts to the New XPENG L03, an AI SUV Coupe that starts at €35,600 and arrives with BEV and EREV powertrain options which offers upto 520 km WLTP range and 382 hp in the AWD version. XPENG also combines its NGP intelligent driving system with Google Maps technology which make the L03 one of the brand’s biggest global launches and an important new contender in Europe’s fast-growing EV market.
Global Debut & Biggest highlights
Starting with what matters the most, the XPENG L03 officially enters Europe on 16 July 2026 with Germany becoming XPENG’s first global vehicle launch held outside China. Unlike the Chinese Mona L03, the international model simply carries the XPENG L03 name and arrives in five variants i.e. four BEVs and one EREV.
And dual powertrain strategy also helps XPENG target markets where charging infrastructure is still developing which gives buyers greater flexibility. This also gives buyers more choices from day one in an EV market that continues to welcome new models like the Changan Nevo Q06.
When come pricing it begin at €35,600 for the Standard Range model and goes upto €46,600 for the AWD Performance Ultra. Buyers can choose between 58.3 kWh & 71.2 kWh LFP batteries and the EREV combines a 37.25 kWh battery with a 1.5 litre range extender that offers upto 1,017 km of total driving range.
Then comes the XPENG’s Smart Driving Push & Google Maps Powers. Yes, this is one of the biggest highlights as XPENG’s New Collaboration with Google Maps. The company becomes the first automaker from the Asia-Pacific Region to build its navigation system using the Google Maps Auto SDK, bringing real time traffic, EV route planning, energy prediction, and updated map data directly into the vehicle without relying on smartphone mirroring.
And this partnership goes beyond navigation and becomes the backbone of XPENG’s overseas intelligent driving strategy. Yes, the Google Maps Map Data Services also support NGP and XPILOT ASSIST which creates the foundation for XPENG’s future international rollout of VLA 2.0 intelligent driving technology. And this is going to be a major software upgrade and will play a key role in the brand’s long term global strategy.
Performance, Technology, & Everyday Use
Well, by looking from outside the XPENG L03 is 4,650 mm long with a 2,850 mm wheelbase which gives it a sporty fastback SUV Coupe profile. And when you go inside, the XPENG replaces the traditional instrument cluster with a 26.8 inch head up display and adds a 15.6 inch central touchscreen. Another must know thing in cabin is soft touch materials across more than 72% of its surfaces.
The BEV models also include a 102 litre frunk combining premium features with a minimalist layout that takes a different approach from the recently Unveiled Freelander 8 Interior. And when comes to power, it ranges from 180 kW (241 hp) in rear wheel drive versions to 285 kW (382 hp) in the dual motor AWD model while the longest BEV delivers up to 520 km WLTP driving range.
What Else Buyers Must Check?
Well, XPENG also strengthens its premium positioning like recently launch Li Auto i9 Flagship Electric SUV, by backing the L03 with a 7 year or 160,000 km warranty for European buyers. The SUV Coupe supports up to 236 kW DC fast charging, taking the battery from 10% to 80% in around 20 minutes and the 6 kW Vehicle to Load (V2L) functionality lets it power external devices when needed.
And the premium cabin also packs a 20 speaker AI audio system, a 14 point massage zero gravity front passenger seat, and 539 litres of rear cargo space, along with a 102 litre frunk on BEV models. XPENG also plans to expand its European ecosystem with more than 1,000 charging stations across 13 countries, showing that the L03 launch back by much bigger long term strategy instead of being just another new model introduction.
Well, the XPENG L03 enters Europe as rivals like the Volkswagen ID. Aura T6 5-Seater but with strong mix of competitive pricing, impressive driving range, AI focused technology, and Google’s navigation platform already built in. With BEV and EREV choices, advanced NGP support, and a launch across 65 markets, XPENG clearly is not testing the waters. But it is making a confident push to become a game changing player in Europe’s EV market.
