The 2028 BMW iX7 Electric Luxury SUV enters into a more advanced testing phase with the latest spy photos from Munich, Germany revealing production-ready LED headlights and a near-final exterior design.

This model scheduled for its official debut in summer 2027, the full-size three-row luxury EV expected to become BMW’s flagship electric SUV and one of its most technologically advanced models.

The latest prototype highlights several key upgrades like a closed-off kidney grille, redesigned split headlights, new LED taillights, an aerodynamic flat underbody, and flush winglet-style door handles.

And the model is built around BMW’s sixth-generation eDrive technology and an 800-volt electrical architecture, the iX7 also rumored to offer upto 800 horsepower, support 400-460 kW DC fast charging, and offer an estimated driving range of around 400 miles (640 km), positioning it among the most capable premium electric SUVs in development.

BMW’s Latest Gen6 eDrive Technology
